Happy Halloween.
The past two days I have been in a major funk. I just couldn't get my act together. You know how it is, your walking upstream fighting the current when you know if you just prepped a little bit you could ride it out and things would be so much easier. Instead your cursing, splashing and just in a plain foul mood stubbornly not doing the obvious.
Today started out much like yesterday's grouch fest. As I was begrudgingly helping the kids get ready for school, getting into costume, packing backpack's I started to listen to conversation's of parties, parades, and general excitement. The slow rush of contentment started to soothe the grouch monster inside me. Until it completely evaporated as I was watching my little witch hold spiderman's smaller hand as they walked into school. Today has to be one of the most magical day's of the year. I looked around and saw fairies, superheroes, monsters, and more. There is a general air of excitement, anticipation and possibilities.
Did I mention I love everything about Halloween?

Boo...
I am gathering up clutter from our current house and hosting a yard sale on Saturday. I loathe yard sales. I would happily throw it all in the back of a truck and take it to goodwill but the last time I did that (when we moved into and were trying to fit into our current abode) they had the above bunny look. They just froze in wonderment. They actually shut down the place for the afternoon because they were overwhelmed. In their defense it is a tiny local thrift store and I sprung it on them with no warning. So I will try to wheedle down the amount before I drop it off approximately 15 minutes after I close down said yard sale. Which reminds me I should probably call and warn them.
Wish me luck.
